4. In kullu nafsin lammaa ‘alaihaa haafiz
There is no soul but has a protector over it.

5. Falyanzuril insaanu mimma khuliq
So let man see from what he is created!

6. Khuliqa min maaa’in daafiq
He is created from a gushing fluid.

7. Yakhruju mim baini alssulbi wa altaraa’ib
Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs.

8. Innahoo ‘alaa raj’ihi laqaadir
Indeed, He is able to return him [to life].

9. Yawma tublas saraaa’ir
The Day when secrets will be put to trial.

10. Famaa lahoo min quwwatinw wa laa naasir

11. Wa al-samaaa’i zaati al-raj’
By the sky which returns [rain].

12. Wa al-ardhi zaati al-sad’
And the earth which cracks open.

13. Innahoo laqawlun fasl

14. Wamaa huwa bilhazl
And it is not amusement.

15. Innahum yakeedoona kaydaa
Indeed, they are planning a plan.

16. Wa akeedu kaydaa
But I am planning a plan.

17. Famahhilil kaafireena amhilhum ruwaida
So give time to the disbelievers. Leave them awhile.
