6. Afalam yanzuroo ila as-sama’i fawqahum kayfa banayna-ha wa zayyanna-ha wa ma laha min furooj
7. Wal-arda madadna-ha wa alqayna feeha rawasi wa anbatna feeha min kulli zawjin baheej
8. Tabsiratan wa thikra li kulli ‘abdin muneeb
9. Wa nazzalna mina as-sama’i ma’an mubarakun fa-anbatna bihi jannatin wa habba al-haseed
10. Wa an-nakhla basiqatin laha tal’un nadeed
11. Rizqan lil’ibad wa ahyayna bihi baldatan maytan kathalika al-khuruj
12. Kaththabat qablahum qawmu Noohin wa as-habu ar-Rassi wa Thamood
13. Wa ‘Adun wa Fir’awnu wa ikhwan Loot
14. Wa as-habu al-Aykati wa qawmu Tubba’in kullun kaththaba ar-rusula fa-haqqa wa’eed
15. Afa ‘ayina bil-khalqi al-awwal bal hum fee labsin min khalqin jadeed
16. Wa laqad khalaqna al-insana wa na’lamu ma tuwaswisu bihi nafsuhu wa nahnu aqrabu ilayhi min hablil-wareed
17. Ith yatalaqqa al-mutalaqqiyani ‘an al-yameeni wa ‘an al-shimali qa’eed
18. Ma yalfithu min qawlin illa ladayhi raqeebun ‘ateed
19. Wa ja’at sakratu al-mawti bil-haqqi thalika ma kunta minhu taheed
20. Wa nufikha fee as-soori thalika yawmu al-wa’eed
21. Wa ja’at kullu nafsin ma’aha sa’iqun wa shaheed
22. Laqad kunta fee ghaflatin min hatha fakashafna ‘anka ghita’aka fabasaru-ka al-yawma hadeed
23. Wa qala qareenuhu hatha ma ladayya ‘ateed
24. Alqi fi Jahannama kulla kaffarin ‘aneed
25. Mana’in lil-khayri mu’tadin murib
26. Allathee ja’ala ma’a Allahi ilahan akhar fa-alqi-hu fee al-‘athabi ash-shadeed
27. Qala qareenuhu rabbana ma atghaytuhu walakin kana fee dalalin ba’eed
28. Qala la takhtasimu ladayya wa qad qaddamtu ilaykum bil-wa’eed
29. Ma yubaddalu al-qawlu ladayya wa ma ana bi-zallamin lil’abid
30. Yawma naqoolu li Jahannama hal imtala’ti wa taqoolu hal min mazeed
31. Wa uzlifat al-Jannatu lil-muttaqeena ghayra ba’eed
32. Hatha ma too’adoona li kulli awwabin hafeez
33. Man khashiya ar-Rahmana bil-ghaybi wa ja’a bi qalbin muneeb
34. Udkhuluha bi-salamun thalika yawmu al-khulood
35. Lahum ma yashaoona feeha wa ladayna mazeed
36. Wa kam ahlakna qablahum min qarnin hum ashaddu minhum batshan fa-naqabu fee al-bilad hal min mahees
37. Inna fee thalika la thikra liman kana lahu qalbun aw alqa as-sam’a wa huwa shaheed
38. Wa laqad khalaqna as-samawati wal-arda wa ma baynahuma fee sittati ayyamin wa ma massana min lughoob
39. Fa-isbir ‘ala ma yaqooloona wa sabbih bi hamdi rabbika qabla tulooi ash-shamsi wa qabla al-ghuroob
40. Wa mina al-layli fa-sabbih-hu wa adbara as-sujood
41. Wa istami’ yawma yunadi al-munadi min makanin qareeb
42. Yawma yasma’oona as-sayhata bil-haqqi thalika yawmu al-khuruj
43. Inna nahnu nuhyee wa numeet wa ilayna al-maseer
44. Yawma tashaqaqqu al-ardu ‘anhum siraa’an thalika hashrun ‘alayna yaseer
45. Nahnu a’lamu bima yaqooloona wa ma anta ‘alayhim bi-jabbar fa-dhakkir bil-Qur’ani man yakhafu wa’eed

English Translation:

1. Qaf. By the honored Qur’an.
2. But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, “This is an amazing thing.”
3. When we have died and have become dust, [we will return]? That is a distant return.
4. We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record.
5. But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition.
6. Have they not looked at the heaven above them – how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts?
